Mr. Barry Bilby
Mr. Barry Bilby is one of Ol' Gum Gully's great problem-solvers. Quiet, studious and determined, Barry can often be found tucked away in his little workshop, carefully tinkering with old radios, gadgets and curious bush contraptions long after everyone else has gone home.
Bushies have learned that if something's broken, Barry is the one to see. A squeaky wheel, a crackling radio or a contraption nobody else understands - Barry approaches each problem with patience and thoughtful care. Many reckon there isn't much he can't fix.
Though naturally reserved, Barry takes great pride in helping others. He may not say a lot, but his clever mind and steady hands have made him someone the community depends upon.
Mrs. Becky Bilby
Mrs. Becky Bilby is Ol' Gum Gully's Bush Nurse, spending her days helping anyone in need with a calm voice and a kind smile.
Empathetic and generous, Becky knows how to settle a worried Bushie. She might be bandaging a grazed paw, checking on a child or simply sitting beside someone who needs company, always giving them her full attention.
Becky is quiet and humble about the care she gives, but it means a great deal to the community. When life becomes a little difficult, Bushies know Becky will be there to help.
Master. Billie Bilby
Billie Bilby is a gentle and bashful youngster who often prefers the quieter corners of Ol' Gum Gully.
While louder Bushies race about causing excitement, Billie is usually happiest enjoying a game, reading a good book or spending time with his friends Wendy and Evie.
Meeting new Bushies can make him nervous, but little by little his confidence is growing. With encouragement from his friends, Billie is beginning to try things that once made him nervous and finding that bravery can come in small steps too.
He may be quiet, but Billie is very observant and often notices things others miss. Those who know him best know there's plenty behind that shy smile.
Miss. Bobbie Bilby
While some of her family prefer quieter activities, Bobbie Bilby has never been the sort of Bushie to sit on the sidelines for long.
If there's a game starting, a race happening or friends gathering nearby, chances are Bobbie is already hurrying over.
Sport doesn't always come naturally to her, but that has never bothered Bobbie one little bit. Win, lose or tumble over trying, she throws herself into every activity with a smile. For Bobbie, being involved has always mattered more than the score.
Her willingness to give anything a go makes her a wonderful friend to have around. Bushies know things usually become more enjoyable once Bobbie joins in.
