But for all his toughness and bravado, family sits at the core of who Cookie is. He loves his mates dearly, yet it’s his own brood he protects most fiercely.

Mrs. Corrin Kookaburra
Mrs. Corrin Kookaburra is a gentle soul with one of the kindest hearts in Ol' Gum Gully.
She loves creating a cosy home high among the gum trees and finds joy in friendly neighbourhood chats and keeping loved ones close.
As the librarian at the Ol' Gum Gully Library, Corrin spends her days helping Bushies discover new stories, learn new things and find just the right book for the moment. Considerate by nature, she seems to know when someone needs a helping wing or a friendly word.
Corrin has a way of turning simple conversations into lasting friendships. Recommending a favourite book, listening over a quiet cup of tea or simply making time for someone, her kindness and empathy are easy to see.
Master. Kit Kookaburra
Kit Kookaburra is one of the biggest jokesters in Ol' Gum Gully, with a laugh so loud it can echo through the gum trees and across the creek.
Full of cheeky ideas, Kit is always on the lookout for his next joke, story or reason to make someone smile.
He loves making others laugh and is rarely far from his mates Colin and Gary. Greg is usually somewhere nearby too, and between them a quiet afternoon doesn't always stay quiet for long. Kit likes everyone involved and is usually the first to pull a friend into the action.
Though he loves being silly, Kit is generous too. To him, the best laughs are the ones shared with mates.
Miss. Kylie Kookaburra
Kylie Kookaburra has a beautiful voice and a love of entertaining that shines as brightly as the morning sun.
Kylie dreams of one day performing on the biggest stages in Ol' Gum Gully and beyond. She's ambitious about where her voice might take her and never misses a chance to practise or perform.
Like many teenagers in Ol' Gum Gully, Kylie loves spending time with her friends Emma, Lozza and Darcy. Singing, gossiping or swapping big ideas, they can often be found laughing long after sunset.
Confident and naturally articulate, Kylie knows how to hold a crowd and has plenty to say offstage too. She's serious about her dreams - even if she has a lot of fun chasing them.
