Mr. Pete Penguin
Mr. Pete Penguin is happiest with salt in the air and sand beneath his feet.
A natural provider, he spends long days along the shoreline searching for the biggest and best catches to bring back home to his family.
When he’s not fishing, Pete volunteers as one of Ol' Gum Gully’s surf lifesavers, always keeping a watchful eye on the coastline and the Bushies enjoying it.
But Pete’s favourite days are the ones spent with his twin girls, Pip and Pebble, teaching them to surf, fish and enjoy every little adventure Ol' Gum Gully has to offer. Paddling through waves or discovering hidden coves, Pete is always ready to see what the day might bring.
Easygoing and dependable, Pete takes great pride in looking after his family and the coastline they call home.
Mr. Percy Penguin
Mr. Percy Penguin is the quieter half of the Penguin family and much prefers the comforts of home to wild days out by the water.
While Pete is off chasing waves and fishing spots, Percy is usually back at the burrow keeping things tidy, preparing dinner or making sure everything is ready for everyone’s return.
Though he tries not to show it, Percy does spend a bit of time worrying about Pip and Pebble. With two fearless twins racing toward every wave and new discovery, he sometimes wonders what trouble they’ll tumble into next. Still, no matter how much he fusses, he’s always there waiting with warm hugs and a relieved smile when they come bouncing back through the burrow door.
Thoughtful and caring, Percy is the anchor that keeps the Penguin family steady.
Miss. Pebble Penguin
Pebble Penguin is a true free spirit, far more comfortable riding waves than standing still on dry land. From sunrise to sunset, she’s forever chasing the next swell, splashing through the surf and searching for the perfect ride.
Fear rarely enters Pebble’s mind. If she spots bigger waves, or somewhere new to explore, she’s already racing toward it before anyone else can catch up. Her adventurous streak keeps her family on their toes, though her twin sister Pip is never far behind.
Pebble approaches life with open flippers and a huge smile. If the surf is up, she wants to be in it.
Miss. Pip Penguin
Pip Penguin has the heart of a little explorer and a curiosity that seems impossible to switch off.
Tiny creeks, rocky shorelines and hidden caves all feel like invitations waiting to be discovered.
Together with her twin sister Pebble, Pip can fill an afternoon with investigating. One minute they're hunting for shells, the next they're following footprints or setting off to inspect something mysterious.
Pip sees possibility everywhere and is rarely short of a new idea. Bushies have learned that when Pip says, "Come and see this!", something interesting is usually waiting nearby.
