Mr. Quentin Quokka
Mr. Quentin Quokka is a familiar face in Ol' Gum Gully.
As the local postie and proud deliverer of the Gum Gully Gazette, Quentin spends his days travelling from burrow to bush track with a satchel full of newspapers and a friendly smile.
Bushies often hear Quentin before they see him. His cheerful "Good morning!" carries down the path as he makes his rounds, and he loves the job because it gives him a chance to catch up with everyone along the way.
Rain, sunshine or muddy tracks never slow him down. Quentin believes every day is a blessing and his happy nature has a way of brightening mornings throughout Ol' Gum Gully.
Mrs. Kath Quokka
Mrs. Kath Quokka has never met a stranger for very long. Joyful and full of kindness, she’s a Bushie who always has time for a cuppa tea or a comforting cuddle.
While Quentin heads off on his delivery rounds, Kath keeps the Bush Post Office running smoothly. Visitors dropping by often find themselves staying a little longer, usually because Kath hassparked another friendly chat.
Kath is an aspiring author and is currently hard at work on her latest project, 'The History of Ol' Gum Gully'. She loves sharing little updates about her latest chapters, favourite characters and new ideas with any Bushie willing to listen.
More than a few locals secretly suspect they may have inspired some of the personalities appearing in her stories... though Kath simply smiles and keeps that to herself.
Master. Raffy Quokka
Raffy Quokka is the happiest youngster in all of Ol' Gum Gully. With an infectious smile and a contagious laugh, Raffy has a wonderful way of making every day feel brighter for everyone around him.
Whether he's kicking a soccer ball with his mates, burning around on his trusty skateboard or dreaming up a new game to play, Raffy is always on the move.
His good mates Willy and Joey James are usually close by, and together they spend their days laughing, exploring and making the most of every moment.
Full of optimism, Raffy brings an energy that's impossible not to enjoy. Bushies know that wherever Raffy is, smiles and laughter are never far behind.
Miss. Queenie Quokka
Queenie Quokka is Ol' Gum Gully’s sweetest little character, with a wonderful imagination that can turn almost anything into a grand performance or make-believe adventure.
She loves spending time with her cuddly toys, carefully arranging pretend morning teas beside the creek and chatting away as though hosting very important guests. Her mum, Kath, is often invited along too...though Queenie usually insists on being in charge of proceedings.
Already dreaming of becoming an actor, Queenie is well known for putting on tiny performances, trying funny voices and acting out stories whenever someone is willing to watch. For Queenie, every day feels like opening night.
